LOSTIGO documents the condition of a physical item when it is handed to another person. This policy explains what data we process, why we need it and your rights under the GDPR.

2. Data we process

  • account and contact information you provide;
  • photos, videos and files uploaded to a handover record;
  • item details, recipient details, comments, date, time and location where enabled;
  • AI visual-analysis output, including visible damage, accessories and readable identifiers;
  • recipient confirmation and confirmation time;
  • technical and security logs generated by our infrastructure.

3. Purposes and legal bases

  • providing the service and performing the contract with the user;
  • creating, storing and displaying handover records;
  • running AI analysis when the user selects that function;
  • sharing a record with the recipient and recording confirmation or comments;
  • security, abuse prevention and debugging based on legitimate interests;
  • accounting, tax and other legal obligations.

4. AI and infrastructure providers

We may use providers such as Vercel and AI model providers for hosting, media storage and AI processing. Data is shared only to the extent required to provide the selected function.

  • AI output assists documentation and is not a professional appraisal;
  • users must review AI output before confirmation;
  • do not upload unnecessary sensitive personal data or content you are not authorised to process.

5. Retention

Records are retained according to the storage period included in the selected plan. Some data may be kept longer where required by law, security needs, an active dispute or legal claims. Data is then deleted or anonymised as appropriate.

6. Your rights

  • data portability where applicable;

  • withdrawal of consent where processing relies on consent;
  • the right to complain to the Slovenian Information Commissioner or another competent supervisory authority.

7. User responsibility for content

You are responsible for having the right to photograph, record and upload the item and associated information. Where media includes third parties, documents, licence plates or other personal data, you must have an appropriate legal basis and limit capture to what is necessary for the handover record.
